Some of Mallorca's most famous tourist attractions become filled in Summer but are nice and roomy in winter, allowing for less queuing and hassle due to all the other people there.

Villages such as Valldemossa, Sóller or Deià; historical buildings such as La Seu or Castell de Bellver and natural sights and monuments including Sa Calobra or Formentor will be waiting for you instead of needing to be visited alongside heaps and heaps of tourists... Make the most and visit them in your own time!

While it's true that many festivities and late-night events are held in the Summer, it's during the Winter and Autumn that many of its fairs and typical traditions can be appreciated. Many towns hold themed fairs and festivals each relating to different towns' seasonal products, providing the perfect opportunity to buy artisanal goods and taste delicious recipes.
